Shipping & Receiving AssociateWith over 90 years of customer-focused performance, Our Client has evolved as a market leader in engineered rubber, plastic, metal, flexible environmental sealing & energy management solutions.This position requires a mix of shipping and receiving skills including scheduling trucks for pickups, filling out packing slips, doing transactions in a computer system, etc. The best candidate will have an upbeat, positive attitude.Pay: up to $20/hr depending on skills and experience.Shifts: 7:00 am 3:30 pm Monday - Friday **This is a small team, so flexibility with schedule depending on work volume is required**. Duties:Maintaining inventory accuracy and organizationUnderstand the principles of stock location and arrangement of materialsPick and pack items for outboundUsing RF scannersUsing logistical systems for shipping/receivingNeed to be comfortable lifting 50lbs consistently.Folding boxes to be used for shippingPacking and labeling items for shippingUnload shipping containers of product inbound.Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements.Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock.Prepare shipping documents.Segregate non-conforming material.Load and unload trucks using a forklift.Perform receiving procedures.Must support and follow the QMS requirements.Skills:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMinimum one year, of recent and consistent work experience in a warehouse environment.Minimum 6 months working experience on a forklift.Moderate computer knowledgeHighly preferred UPS and/or FedEx Shipping software experience
