Minimum of three successful years' experience as an educator required. Preferred candidates will demonstrate experience with educational technology systems, assessment administration platforms, and data reporting tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly. Excellent communication skills, customer service approach, and ability to serve as a liaison between departments. Ability to manage multiple tasks in time-sensitive testing windows.GOALTo support the effective implementation, training, and utilization of the district's balanced assessment system through close collaboration with subject matter experts and technology teams. This role ensures stakeholders can access, interpret, and apply assessment data through timely reporting, data analysis support, and responsive technical assistance.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare, configure, and maintain district assessment platforms to support school-based and districtwide testing, ensuring systems are fully operational and aligned with established assessment calendars.Coordinate and oversee the process for loading, validating, and maintaining summative and formative assessments within the assessment platform, including annual updates, edits, and quality assurance checks.Support the creation, configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of district and school-based assessments within approved assessment platforms.Maintain current knowledge of assessment platform updates, system enhancements, and vendor guidance to ensure effective and compliant platform use.Ensure secure, test-ready functionality of devices, networks, and assessment software in accordance with district, state, and vendor requirements.Support schools with the technical components of test security, administration procedures, and platform functionality.Work in partnership with Accountability Department staff to ensure testing environments meet all compliance, accessibility, and security standards.Uphold and enforce all district, state, and vendor policies related to secure and ethical test administration.Provide proactive, real-time, and post-administration technical support and troubleshooting for students, teachers, school staff, and district personnel before, during, and after testing windows.Actively monitor assessment platforms during district and state test administrations and respond promptly to technical issues impacting test delivery.Document, track, and analyze technical incidents, resolutions, and trends occurring during testing windows to support reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.Maintain accurate records related to device readiness, technical issues encountered, corrective actions, and resolutions implemented.Serve as a liaison between the Accountability Department and the Division of Technology and Information Services to promote secure, efficient, and coordinated testing operations.Collaborate closely with the Division of Technology and Information Services to resolve network, hardware, or software issues affecting assessment operations.Serve as the primary district contact for assessment platform vendors, coordinating technical support, system updates, issue resolution, and communication related to platform functionality and enhancements.Coordinate the design and delivery of training, informational resources, and technical guidance for district and school-based staff related to assessment platforms and testing procedures.Respond to and manage school and district requests related to assessment platforms, reporting, access, and functionality in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.Participate in pre-testing planning, implementation, and post-assessment review meetings to identify challenges, recommend solutions, and improve testing processes.Support data verification processes to ensure accurate student enrollment, rostering, accommodations, and access within assessment systems.Support district and school leaders in analyzing assessment data by generating, reviewing, and interpreting platform reports to inform instructional planning, program evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.Review assessment reports for accuracy, trends, and usability, and provide summaries, insights, and analyses to schools and district leadership as appropriate.Support the administration and utilization of learning pathways aligned to student needs.Oversee the collection, review, and documentation of assessment feedback from schools and district stakeholders to inform assessment revisions and platform enhancements.Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment technology processes, documentation, training materials, and support practices.Maintain current knowledge of best practices and legal requirements in educational assessment and accountability.Participate in ongoing professional development to remain informed on research and emerging trends in the field.Possess and maintain valid and appropriate license, certificate, and/or credential as may be required for this position.Follow work scheduling and attendance requirements in a regular, predictable, and punctual manner.Ensure adherence to established safety procedures.Follow federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies.Perform other duties as assigned.IMPORTANT NOTESESSENTIAL DUTIESJob descriptions are designed and intended only to summarize the essential duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements for the purpose of clarifying the general nature and scope of a position's role as part of the overall organization.
