Production Supervisor General
Location: Livonia, Michigan Type: Contract Job #96964 Epitec is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for an opportunity with our automotive client in Livonia, MI. As a Warehouse Supervisor, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring safety and quality, and leading a union workforce to meet daily production and inventory targets.This is an ongoing W2 contract with potential for conversionThis is an afternoon position (Mon - Fri, 3:30pm - 12am)This position offers $26.30/hour, 10 days PTO, medical/retirement contributions (if desired)Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day operations of UAW/union workforce within a warehouse/distribution environmentDrive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health & safety standardsManage manpower planning, staffing, and daily workload allocationOversee inventory control, including cycle counts, aging material, and accuracy checksMonitor WMS and operational KPIs (quality, productivity, attendance, delivery)Lead shift start-up meetings and maintain clear communication with frontline teamsEnforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure process adherenceSupport continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activitiesManage employee relations, attendance tracking, coaching, and performance feedbackCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow and operationsQualifications:Experience in warehouse, distribution, or production operationsPrior experience supervising UAW/union employees strongly preferredProven leadership ability managing hourly teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of inventory management, quality processes, and operational metricsAbility to work closely with both operations employees and leadershipStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Solid business acumen and problem-solving abilityHigh level of self-motivation, emotional resilience, and accountabilityAbility to multitask and perform in a fully onsite, high-demand environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred#INDEPI #LI-RH1
