HR handles employee data and transactions, so you can stay focused on payroll execution and accuracy.Key Responsibilities of Payroll Specialist:Payroll Processing:Independently process weekly (~100 employees) and bi-weekly (~200 employees) payroll using PaylocityGarnishments:Process and monitor wage garnishments with a high degree of accuracyExpense Reports:Process pre-approved employee expense reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation and accuracyEmployee Support:Respond to payroll-related inquiries, including more complex questionsCompliance Execution:Process payroll in accordance with established procedures and wage regulationsPrevailing Wage Tracking:Track and report prevailing wage data as requiredStandard Reporting:Generate standard payroll reports as neededAudit Support:Provide payroll data and documentation with minimal directionIssue Identification & Escalation:Proactively identify discrepancies or risks and escalate appropriatelyQualifications4–5 years of payroll processing experienceExperience with payroll systems (Paylocity preferred)Intermediate Excel skillsStrong multi-state payroll knowledgeGarnishment experience requiredHigh attention to detail with the ability to work independentlyFull benefits, medical, dental, vision 401k match Work life balance, family first environment#LI-CC2
