Tech Aide - Radiology - Full Time - Days

Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Supervisor, performs those duties involved with a variety of operational and technical procedures.  These duties include operating the darkroom area, assisting technologists with assorted duties, receives visitors and patients, answers incoming calls, obtains orders from hospital computer and refers exams to technologists, logs procedures on daily log sheet, transports patients to and from assigned areas.  Performs those duties not requiring constant supervision or technical detail.  Assumes responsibility for designated procedures with ingenuity and initiative as required.Core Job ResponsibilitiesFiles and charts medical reports and related material.Assigns the proper patient consent form, if an injectable study is to be performed.
