This is a full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week. Must have weekend availability.Blue Seal also provides a generous employee discount!This position is designed and intended to be performed in Litchfield, CT.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer deliveriesLoading and unloading bagged feeds and related products to our customers, both commercial and privateMaintain vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition, keeping accurate driver logs, and operating the vehicle according to local, state and federal lawsOperate a hand truck and a fork truckOperate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey all safety rulesReceive, accurately load and rotate productKeep warehouse and loading areas neat and cleanOther duties as assigned by Store ManagementQUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inchesClean driving recordValid driver's licenseSafely operate a large box truck with weight of 33,000 lbs, being physically qualified, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including holding a valid CDL Class B License and a Medical Certification Card, and otherwise not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicleHave a solid work historyAble to work independently as well as with othersAbility to pass pre-employment drug screenEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
