Maintenance Supervisor

With panoramic skyline views as its backdrop, it features an iconic stone tower and a beautiful water feature inspired by the English countryside. Residents will enjoy a sense of belonging as they gather with neighbors along miles of trails or at one of the many planned events hosted throughout the year. The community features two amenities centers, large swimming pools, sports courts, a pavilion, and an event lawn.What You’ll AccomplishProvide exemplary service and maintenance in order to ensure the tidiness, cleanliness, and welcoming appearance of Association-owned facilities and groundsSupervise the Maintenance Department which includes hiring, training, management, scheduling, and evaluation of staffPrepare and maintain the property in a condition to pass required inspections and relevant safety standards (OSHA, company safety and health, etc.)Maintain records pertaining to maintenance of facilities and grounds, equipment/asset warranty, and service informationCompletes and delegates repairs and work orders, sometimes overseeing outside vendors or contractorsProvides monthly report documenting inspection results Establish and implement a preventative maintenance schedule and maintains records of planned servicePrepares bid specifications and makes recommendations for the award of contractsMaintains adequate stock of frequently-used items and orders equipment, parts, and suppliesAssist in creating and maintaining a yearly maintenance budgetWhat We’re Looking ForHave at least five years’ experience in facility and grounds maintenance, as well as, five years of experience in direct supervision of staff rolePossess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office productsService-oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to manage a staff, and establishment while also maintaining professional, pleasant and polite working relationshipsMust be able to work weekends, after-hours, and be on-call for emergenciesHave a valid driver’s license and vehicle insuranceIf driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 80 pounds and performing physical labor.Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions.
