Our culture is built upon three Key Values: Reputation, Attitude, and Persistence. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee DFH projects from detailing through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on, experienced PM who enjoys ownership, works well across teams, and keeps projects moving – on schedule, on budget, and to code – while maintaining strong customer relationships. You will be the central point of coordination between sales, estimating, detailing, field teams, contractors, and customers. Job Responsibilities Project Delivery Guide projects from kickoff to closeout Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, scope, and trackers Coordinate submittals, change orders, material releases, and job details Track costs, contracts, invoices, and risk items Solve problems proactively and remove roadblocks quickly, with excellent customer service Field & Vendor Coordination Partner with field leadership, contractors, and suppliers Confirm materials, labor, inspections, and site access align with schedules Visit job sites to check progress, quality, and compliance Customer & Team Communication Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout project execution & closeout Provide clear, proactive and professional updates to customers and lead project meetings Build long-term customer relationships through reliability, follow-through, and communication Collaborate closely with Sales, Estimating, Detailing & Purchasing Documentation & Process Maintain and build project documentation including SOPs, schedules, and Gantt charts Prepare owner’s manuals, closeout packages, and final handoffs Gather & use project data to improve processes and scale best practices Contribute to training and mentoring team members as the business grows Job Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience in Doors, Frames & Hardware Strong knowledge of DFH systems, hardware schedules, and security compliance Experience reviewing construction and project documents with a background in estimating and coordinating DFH projects Proven experience managing subcontractors and suppliers within project requirements Proficient with Microsoft Office, Zoho Apps, and custom project management software Familiarity with PMI Waterfall and Agile concepts Core Competencies Clear planning and organization across multiple DFH projects Direct, professional communication across customers and teams Sound judgment under changing job conditions Customer-focused mindset with consistent follow-through Ownership, reliability, and alignment with company values Equal Opportunity Employer Opening Technologies is an equal employment opportunity employer.
