Regional Controller

Ionbond is seeking a Regional Controller who is motivated by challenges and energized by the opportunity to rebuild and strengthen the finance function in an organization. This role requires a hands-on leader who can bring structure, clarity, and accountability to an evolving team. You will lead the U.S. finance functions, drive process improvements, and establish consistent procedures that support operational excellence. We are looking for someone who communicates directly, leads decisively, and can guide a team through change while partnering effectively with colleagues and internal customers.In this role, you will oversee all U.S. financial operations, including monthly financial reporting, journal entries, financial statements, analysis, and presentations. You will partner closely with plant operations and regional leadership to ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency across the organization. Success in this position requires strong leadership, process ownership, and the ability to guide a team through change while maintaining high standards of performance and communication. Don't hesitate to contactUS Recruitment Team[email protected]Download the job descriptionJob descriptionWhat do we ask?Manage the preparation & consolidation of monthly financial statements for multiple locations.Prepare monthly financial analysis, reports, account reconciliations, journal entries.Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and monthly reviews for the region's coating centers.Drive effective management reporting to allow sound decision-making including monthly operating reviews.Monitor & ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, company procedures and local, state & federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Work as a partner with operations management to specify initiatives and implement.Monthly closing of operations, flash reporting, regional consolidationsLeading the finance team in Madison Heights.Establish effective cost controls and cost reduction initiatives in field operating, overhead, and project activities.Partner with colleagues to collaborate and deliver cultural and organizational commitments.Manage internal/external financial auditsWhat do we offer?Unleashing potential is at the core of our approach. Proficiency in compliance, audits, and other projects.Experience managing month-end close, inventories, multiple cost centers, and fixed assets & capital expenditures.Strong communication skills. Strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to time management and process improvementMust be willing to travel throughout the US occasionally (10-25%)Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check/physical screeningInterested in this job?
