Accounts Receivable Manager

DescriptionRobert Half is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for a contract opportunity with one of our clients. This role will oversee accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections, while helping ensure accurate reporting and strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. (Source: Q1 2026_The Demand for Skilled Talent.pdf)Key Responsibilities:+ Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash application, and collections+ Monitor customer balances, aging reports, and past-due accounts+ Review account reconciliations and resolve escalated discrepancies+ Manage invoicing accuracy and timely payment posting+ Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close related to accounts receivable+ Partner with customers and internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues+ Maintain accurate AR records and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls+ Prepare reporting related to receivables, collections, and account activity+ Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and workflowRequirementsQualifications:+ 4+ years of accounts receivable experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility+ Strong knowledge of billing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations+ Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, QuickBooks, or similar.
