Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Duties - Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Supervising self-checkout stations and assisting customers as needed - Stock shelves and maintain a clean checkout area - Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems - Utilize sales techniques to promote products or services - Perform basic math accurately for cash handling - Bilingual skills are a plus for assisting multilingual customers - Upsell additional items to customers at the checkout - Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Requirements - Proven experience in a cashier or retail sales role is preferred but not required - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Basic math skills for calculating totals and providing change - Proficiency in upselling techniques is advantageous - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.00 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Shift: Night shift Overnight shift Ability to Commute: Boise, ID 83705 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Boise, ID 83705: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
