Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties - Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. - Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. - Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations. - Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs. - Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. - Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or post-event clean-up. - Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and tasks. Qualifications - Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Good physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. - Reliable transportation is preferred for commuting to various job sites. - Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
