Embedded Software Engineer - Audio Tech

Overview In this role you will own the end-to-end delivery of audio technology solutions, from concept to market. You will lead platform software projects within Bose’s Audio Tech organization, ensuring integration readiness and successful deployment across teams. You will work on embedded and RTOS-based software, optimizing real-time audio performance and coordinating with systems, QA, and security teams. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the heart of Bose’s audio innovations, with a clear impact on product readiness and performance. Key requirementsBachelor degree with 3+ years in computer engineering or related field.Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded/RTOS-based software development.Experience with audio technologies, including DSP integration and low-latency pipelines.Knowledge of real-time/near real-time systems, latency analysis, and synchronization.Proven ability to lead technical projects without people management.Solid understanding of system integration, debugging, and performance optimization.Familiarity with middleware frameworks, IPC, and hardware–software interaction.Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to drive technical discussions.strong communicationcross-functional collaborationproblem solvingC/C++embedded softwareRTOS
