Experience in the medical device or biotech industry is greatly preferred.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management within both a public company and a company preparing for or undergoing an IPO. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid background in public company reporting compliance and the ability to handle the complexities of international financial operations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with significant experience as a Controller or similar leadership role in a public company. Experience working for a medical device or biotech company greatly preferred.Prior experience with one of the Big Four accounting firms is highly desirable.Experience with IPO filings and readiness preferred.Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.International finance experience is highly desirable.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and developing internal control policies and procedures.Manage the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.Lead the preparation and filing of IPO documents, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure that all financial practices comply with statutory regulations and internal policies.Develop and implement strategies for financial optimization and reporting efficiency, especially in preparing for public company status.Expertise in GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and financial operations in a highlyregulated industry.Collaborate with senior management to strategize on financial and long-term business planning.Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.About the Company: Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding private medical device company poised for next year's public offering.
