Job Summary:Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a school nurse at our Newport News location. This is a full time contracted position with a pay rate of $48 per hour with day shift availability. You must have at least 2 years of recent and relevant experience as a school nurse.Compensation & Benefits: Hourly wage of $48 per hour Weekly pay Flexible scheduleResponsibilities: Monitor and assess patient's vital signs, lab results, and overall condition Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate and support patients and their families on their condition and treatment plan Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Adhere to all healthcare and safety regulations and standardsRequirements: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting BLS certifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds#IHCRVMS
