Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Procurement Analyst to support end-to-end logistics operations, procurement activities, and customs compliance tracking. This role combines hands-on coordination with analytical responsibilities, including freight cost analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and shipment visibility through systems such as ERP and ACE (Automated Commercial Environment).The position works cross-functionally with U.S. Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams, as well as Asia-based suppliers and logistics partners. Due to frequent communication with overseas teams, Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable to ensure effective coordination across regions and time zones.Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Data AnalysisAnalyze and track inbound and outbound shipments across domestic and international lanes Monitor shipment performance, identify delays, and provide root cause analysis with corrective actions Maintain and analyze logistics data in ERP and tracking systems to support reporting and decision-making Develop shipment visibility and KPI tracking (lead time, on-time delivery, cost variance) Freight Cost & Vendor AnalysisRequest, compare, and evaluate freight quotations across multiple forwarders (air, ocean, LCL/FCL, courier) Perform cost-benefit analysis to recommend optimal shipping methods based on cost, transit time, and service level Track and analyze freight spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budgeting initiatives Evaluate forwarder performance and service reliability Procurement & PO ManagementIssue and manage logistics-related purchase orders (freight, brokerage, warehousing, and services) Validate invoices against quotes and POs; investigate and resolve discrepancies Support procurement analysis including supplier cost comparisons, lead time tracking, and service evaluation Customs & ACE Compliance SupportSupport customs documentation and compliance processes (CI, PL, BOL, AWB, HTS classification, etc.) Track and review import/export entries through systems such as ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) Assist in duty analysis, entry tracking, and audit preparation Coordinate with brokers and forwarders to ensure timely customs clearance and compliance Cross-Functional & Global CoordinationCollaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams to align shipment plans and priorities Coordinate with Asia-based suppliers, factories, and logistics partners on schedules and documentation Support inventory movement, RMA logistics, and special projects Drive continuous improvement in logistics workflows, reporting accuracy, and process standardization QualificationsRequired2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or operations analysis Experience working with freight forwarders and transportation providers Strong analytical skills with experience in cost comparison and data tracking Proficiency in Excel (data analysis, lookups, pivot tables) and ERP systems (NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics preferred) Familiarity with purchase orders, invoice validation, and vendor coordination Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin PreferredExperience with international shipping and customs documentation Exposure to ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) or customs entry tracking Knowledge of Incoterms, tariffs, and basic trade compliance concepts Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments Skills & CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and data-driven decision-making Cost analysis and vendor comparison Strong attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving and proactive issue resolution Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Cross-functional communication across global teams Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays)
