MSLLC has also been recognized as one of the Top Employers in the Greater Knoxville area.The Digital Solutions Practice Lead will be responsible for the following: Oversee the firm’s digital, IT, and data-related functions (e.g., IT systems; data management, visualization, and automation; cybersecurity; etc.)Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staffEstablish a strategic direction for Management Solutions’ overarching digital / IT practice area, in concert with firm leadershipDevelop firm-wide digital / IT policies, procedures, and best practicesEnsure IT strategies and processes support company-wide goalsOversee relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers as related to digital / IT solutionsWork closely with account leads and program directors to ensure Management Solutions has the appropriate digital / IT-related talent to meet client needs and expectationsProvide digital / IT subject matter expertise to clients across a range of topicsGuide Management Solutions’ clients through their most difficult organizational challenges – helping them understand the role of digital solutions and information technology toolsProvide clients with the tools and capabilities to manage organizational change while addressing digital / IT challengesImprove client business performance through benchmarking, process improvement, performance metrics, operating risk assessment, and implementation of continuous improvement principles Contribute strategic industry and subject matter expertise, and thought leadership on project assignments with clientsWhat you will need…US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident status (due to the nature of client engagements)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, or related discipline15+ years' work experience in professional services or with Energy or Defense consulting organizations (excluding internships, co-ops, fellowships, graduate research and post-doctoral work)Deep background in the IT project management, with a specific depth in one or more of the following: cybersecurity, IT project management, data transformation, and enterprise technologiesDemonstrated Executive / C-level relationships with energy and defense clients and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationshipsFull lifecycle solution experience, including strategy, planning, design, implementation (including technology implementation), and operationsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and experience developing and using analytical models and simulationsExcellent communication, client-management, and people skillsHigh degree of self-confidence and determinationAdvanced organizational and management skillsAbility to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities and assignments without diminished effectivenessAbility to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organizationProficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation softwareAbility to travel as neededAbility to work individually, as part of a team, or leading a teamReviewing and at times preparing and delivering reports, presentations and other documents for client deliverablesWhat would be nice to have…Digital, cybersecurity, and or IT-related certificationsTechnology platforms certificationsProgram/Project management experience (PMP certification)Professional designations relevant to this roleLocation:Hybrid – Washington, D.C., working hours from 8 am – 5 pm Eastern time zone is required.Occasional travel to the company headquarters in Knoxville, TN and client sites as required.Benefits include:Medical, Rx, Dental & Vision InsurancePTO & Company Paid HolidaysPosition may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonusParental Leave401(k) Retirement PlanBasic Life & Supplemental LifeHealth Savings Account, Dental/Vision & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsShort-Term DisabilitySkills Development & CertificationsEmployee Referral ProgramCorporate Sponsored Events & Community OutreachDisclaimer: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not a complete list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities or working conditions associated with it.
