Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. Our interdisciplinary approach fosters teamwork, lending itself to collaboration and coordination that our patients deserve.Position Location will vary depending on Candidate's LocationPosition SummaryThe Occupational Therapist assists patients in the restoration of Occupational function through evaluation and treatment.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.Licensure/Certifications:Respective state license and NBCOT registration.American Heart BLSValid Driver's License and InsuranceOther skills/knowledge:Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population servedStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with patients and families. Additionally, communicates effectively with other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition informationAnalytical ability to evaluate patients' Occupational and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problemsExcellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate mannerPreferred Qualifications:One year experience in hospital or Home Care SettingOSF Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
