Senior Construction Superintendent
Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site execution of large-scale multifamily and mixed-use developments construction. This role is responsible for overall field operations, safety, quality, and schedule control from site start through final turnover. The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader and manages all field personnel and subcontractor activities.Core ResponsibilitiesLead daily construction operations from pre-construction through project closeoutDirect and mentor field teams including Superintendents, Assistants, Foremen, and subcontractorsManage project schedules, sequencing, manpower, and material flowEnforce safety programs, environmental compliance, and jobsite standardsCoordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control effortsReview drawings and specifications to ensure accurate field executionTrack progress, productivity, and field documentation (logs, photos, reports)Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and resolve field issues proactivelyServe as the primary on-site contact with inspectors, consultants, vendors, and ownership teamsSupport unit readiness, punch lists, and final acceptance activitiesRequired BackgroundAssociate degree or equivalent construction experience6+ years of superintendent-level experience in multifamily or mixed-use constructionStrong understanding of architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and fire systemsOSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and stormwater compliance trainingValid driver's license and ability to travel as projects requireKey SkillsStrong leadership and team-building capabilitiesExcellent communication with field crews and external stakeholdersAbility to read and interpret construction documents and schedulesSolid planning, coordination, and problem-solving skillsProficient with construction management software and MS OfficeWork EnvironmentPredominantly field-based role on active construction sitesRequires walking, climbing, lifting, and working in varying outdoor conditionsMust consistently follow safety and PPE requirements
