Accounts Payable Administrator

Job PurposeThe Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments on behalf of the company related to project invoices, office expenses, and facility maintenance. Responsibilities• Process and post invoices • Reconcile vendor statements • Pay vendors and manage payment batches • Hold and release payments as needed • Process facility bills and land rent payments • Complete company credit card reconciliations • Manage recurring and loan payments • Process intercompany invoices • Set up new vendors and maintain vendor accounts • Complete credit applications • Process lien waivers and joint checks for material vendors • Maintain payment methods and terms • Process employee reimbursements and expense reports • Upload positive pay files to the bank • Complete daily funds transfers • Communicate with accounting management, project teams, and vendors • Verify invoice coding and sales tax accuracy • Moderate degree of job complexity • Works under moderate supervision Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Excellent customer service skills • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability • Ability to organize and track information while meeting deadlines • Basic knowledge of Washington State sales tax laws • Minimum of two years of accounts payable experience • Associate degree or equivalent specialization in AP or subcontracting Working Environment• Extensive computer-based office work • Typical schedule is 40 hours per week between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required Compensation and BenefitsTapani is committed to providing a comprehensive benefits program that supports employee health, financial security, and work-life balance.
