Open Doors Coordinator/Contract Learning Center Counselor JobID: 1864Position Type:Certificated Student Support Services/Guidance CounselorDate Posted:5/6/2026Location:Contract Learning CenterClosing Date:05/12/2026Additional Information: Show/HideWhat You'll be Doing:Manage Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Trauma Informed approaches for Open Doors students.Facilitate district Open Doors referrals for program enrollment.Re-engage students by conducting home visits and/or provide necessary resources.Provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for managing the placement of assigned students.Assist in the development of goals and plans for achievement.What We Offer:* Salary: $57,166 - $112,732 (Salary dependent upon education and experience.)* M/D/V insurance, Life insurance, Retirement benefits, Paid sick leave and Paid time off and/or vacation.Job Details:Working days: 5 days per week / 180 days per yearHours per day: 7 hoursPosition is contingent on grant funding.What You'll Need:Education: Masters from an accredited college or university in job-related area.Experience: Experience working with children and families of varied cultural backgrounds preferred. Experience in high school counseling preferred.Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Must have a Washington State ESA Certificate, endorsed in School Counselor preferred. Must meet WA State Certification Criteria.Minimum qualifications: Relates well with students, parents and peers. Willingness and ability to work in a team environment. An enthusiastic, creative and resourceful motivator of students. Present a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times.
