Director of Strategic Planning

We are partnering with a rapidly growing global manufacturing organization in the Portland, OR area to hire a Director of Strategic Global Planning. This role will lead the development and standardization of planning processes across multiple international sites, supporting a complex, multi-site production environment. This position reports into senior operations leadership and will play a key role in aligning planning, scheduling, and execution across the business. This is a 100% onsite position and offers a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. The base salary for this role is $150K-$200K, DOE, + Bonus.Key Responsibilities:Build and implement a unified global planning strategy across all sitesStandardize processes for material planning, production scheduling, and order executionOversee the full lifecycle of production orders including release, prioritization, and accuracyDrive improvements in schedule reliability, planning accuracy, and operational consistencyPartner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, engineering, and ITLead the rollout and adoption of a manufacturing execution system (MES)Establish planning governance and improve data accuracy across systemsDevelop reporting and dashboards to track performance, gaps, and opportunitiesLead and mentor a distributed team of planners across regionsRequirements10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations within manufacturingExperience supporting multi-site or global operationsStrong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and capacity managementExperience working with ERP systems and exposure to MES platformsProven ability to drive process improvements and operational consistencyStrong leadership and change management experienceBackground in complex or high-mix manufacturing environments is a plusThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, driving global alignment, and making a meaningful impact in a growing and evolving organization.BenefitsFull-time employees may receive:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Life insurance and short-term & long-term disability coverageWellness programs and fitness benefitsAdditional voluntary benefitsPaid holidays and PTO
