With a team of highly accomplished drug hunters, empowered and tightly integrated by the platform, we strive to discover breakthrough medicines.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced expert in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) to join our team with the following responsibilities:Serve as the resident subject matter expert for DMPK function at all stages of drug discovery and developmentWorking collaboratively with project team members to design and execute the non-clinical DMPK strategy to address DMPK challengesDesign and oversee DMPK studies at CRO partners, interpret data and provide timely feedback to project team membersCreate the DMPK package including human dose projection calculations to support nomination of preclinical candidates (PCC)Author and edit key preclinical and regulatory documents including study reports, investigator brochures, INDs and CTAs within agreed timelines.QualificationsA PhD in Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics or related discipline with a minimum of 12 years of biotech/pharmaceutical drug discovery and development experienceProven track record of supporting multiple research programs to advance high quality assets into the clinicSuperior interpersonal and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to think critically and strategicallyExperience working with contract research organizations (CRO) on program executionExcellent presentation and communication skillsExperience with the drafting of regulatory submissionsRelevant experience in business development for research or development assetsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position and are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.
