Wastewater Utility Worker I/II (In House Only)

To perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities on wastewater facilities; to operate and maintain a wide variety of maintenance tools and equipment; and to perform a variety of maintenance duties relative to assigned area of responsibility. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS Wastewater Utility Worker I--This is the entry level class in the Wastewater Utility Worker series. This class is distinguished from the Wastewater Utility Worker II by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within the series including less complex maintenance and repair activities. Since this class is typically used as a training class, employees may have only limited or no directly related work experience. Wastewater Utility Worker II--This is the full journey level class within the Wastewater Utility Worker series.
