Fiber Optic Field Technician

Medcomm is currently seeking EXPERIENCED 1099 Fiber Installation & Repair Technician, you’ll install, repair, and maintain Fiber cable systems for residential customers in the Colorado Springs area. Your responsibilities will include: Performing residential installations and repairs for internet, and phone services Troubleshooting and repairing fiber systems using signal meters and diagnostic tools Following all safety protocols and procedures Collaborating with team members to meet service goals Representing the company professionally with customers Working in various weather conditions and at heights Using job management systems to document work What You’ll Need Your own hand tools – required Local to the Colorado Springs area Your own truck or van (required) Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance Ability to work safely and efficiently to industry standards Flexible availability to meet changing schedules Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working at heights and in indoor/outdoor environments Basic computer proficiency Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Opportunities for advancement Referral program Work Location: In person
