Job Description Job OverviewOur organization is excited to announce an opportunity in the Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care sector, which is rapidly growing and offers excellent work-life balance without any on-call requirements.We are looking for a Fee-For-Service Attending Physician/Medical Director for our facility located in North Conway, NH.This position encompasses a dual role as both Attending Physician and Medical Director, focusing primarily on clinical responsibilities. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with experience in Long-Term Care.Our organization is a national medical group committed to enhancing health outcomes for residents in skilled nursing and senior living facilities. Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) is backed by a clinical leadership team with extensive experience in post-acute and long-term care. We strive to improve the quality of life for all individuals we serve, guided by our mission to elevate healthcare outcomes for patients, providers, and partners.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Attending Physician collaborates with the Center Medical Director to ensure that clinical services align with our organizational mission. This involves working with designated centers and managers to oversee the implementation, utilization, and evaluation of our Clinical Programs and nationally recognized standards of care.The Attending Physician reports primarily to the Regional Medical Director and is also accountable to the Center's Administrator and Medical Director due to their legal and regulatory obligations.Assume full responsibility for patients admitted under their care.Adhere to the credentialing process established by our organization.Conduct timely visits to assigned patients in accordance with organizational policies.Follow guidelines related to our initiatives.Comply with the Medical Staff's "Rules and Regulations."Abide by our "Corporate Integrity" policies.Ensure a comprehensive history and physical examination is documented within 72 hours of patient admission.Provide high-quality care to all assigned patients.Collaborate closely with the Center Medical Director to enhance care quality within the facility.Serve as a role model for fellow physicians and staff.Communicate our mission effectively to community and professional organizations.Assist the center in establishing relationships and coordinating care with local hospitals and relevant institutions.Exhibit compassion and care to ensure all customers receive exceptional service.Follow our Time Off and On Call policies.Perform additional duties as assigned.Compliance ResponsibilitiesAll employees must adhere to applicable legal standards, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to the Compliance Process, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act, and HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities include:Participating in mandatory orientation and training programs.Reporting any concerns or suspected non-compliance to management or the Compliance Officer.Cooperating with monitoring, auditing, and investigative functions.QualificationsApplicants must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred, along with maintenance of certification.
