This is a possible temp to hire opportunity focused on preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and keeping operations running efficiently.Location: Rohnert Park, CAPay: $28/hour with increase to $30hr upon conversionSchedule:Training: 2 weeks on day shift (4:00am–12:30pm) + 2 weeks on swing (12:00pm–8:30pm) Regular shift: Graveyard | Sunday–Thursday, 8:00pm–4:30am What you will be doing:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Respond to maintenance calls and support production uptime Assist with line changeovers, adjustments, and equipment setup Perform general facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks Maintain spare parts inventory and support maintenance planning Operate tools and equipment such as forklifts, lifts, presses, and hand/power tools Skills and Requirements:Previous maintenance experience required Basic knowledge of motors, motor controls, and food processing equipment Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read and follow schematics and technical instructions Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts as needed Bilingual Spanish is a plus About Star Staffing:A women-powered workforce solutions and staffing company serving Northern California with offices in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Napa, Fairfield, Sacramento, Lodi, Hayward, Stockton, and Manteca.
