Program Manager I

The Program Manager I is responsible for the overall knowledge, organization, direction and requirements of the contract effort. The Program Manager I is responsible for the timely report of information to ensure program efforts are met.Demonstrates competence in project management and technical competence in discipline field(s)Possesses knowledge of industry policies and practices such as FAR ISO 9001 and AS9110Understands and complies with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and proceduresProvides cost and schedule estimatingEnsure program meets systems discipline, engineering specifications and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production. Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting as requiredParticipates in program meetings as requiredMust be able to provide clear concise communicationEducationBA/BS in Business, Management, Engineering or Science RequiredMasters PreferredExperienceTwo years Program Management Experience RequiredFour years Program Management Experience PreferredMS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project desiredEarned Value Management, Proposal Writing experience preferredAny combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
