Community Health Center is seeking a Psychiatrist to treat patients at clinics in our community. Prior experience working in a community health center is preferred. Position will include supervision of a Nurse Practitioner, coordinating plan of care with primary care providers and providing them with psychiatric consults, working collaboratively with our behavioral health team, completing diagnostic evaluations and on going medical management services. The salary will depend on experience. Join a dynamic, collaborative team of Adult & Child Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselors who together provide a plan of care for our patients. This position will involve coordinating plan of care with primary care providers to include psychiatric consults, completing diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medical management services. Psychiatrists receive the support of RN Case Managers.Community Health Centers are Federally Qualified Health Centers and provide a network of Family Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Dentists and Social Workers. CHCRR provides short term and ongoing psychiatric services to any medical patient of the organization. Our behavioral health program is one of the major psychiatric services within Rutland County. CHCRR utilizes an integrated Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management system.
