DataStage & Python Developer

Responsibilities Develop and test ETL processes to transform data from various sources (Kafka, databases) into structured CSV files for Market Abuse Surveillance (MAS) systems. Collaborate with the Market Abuse Surveillance and Compliance – Investment Management teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Work with automated surveillance systems to detect market abuse related to inside trading and market manipulation. Integrate and transform data from Kafka/XML sources to meet the requirements of the 3rd party SaaS product for MAS. Participate in Agile methodologies and use JIRA for project tracking and collaboration. Requirements Hands‐on experience with DataStage and Python for ETL processes. Proficiency in Oracle SQL for data extraction and transformation. Experience reading data from Kafka/XML sources. Familiarity with JIRA and Agile ways of working . Strong IT background with knowledge of full‐stack development, Kubernetes, and Python . Nice‐to‐have Prior experience in financial institutions , specifically in the trading area . Knowledge of risk & compliance processes. Experience with Actimize product & implementation .
