Baker
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our team for the holidays and for our new location. The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and sourdoughs. Must be knowledgeable in baking techniques and ingredients, measuring with ratios, and working on a timely schedule. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
We are an artisan bakery and brunch restaurant. We focus on leavened breads and pastries.
Duties
-Measuring and mixing of sourdough and yeast breads
- Bake different types of breads and pastries
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques and the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary or pastry arts education is a plus
- Experience working in a restaurant or food production setting is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.61 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
