Inventory Control Coordinator

Preferred Start Date: 12/2/2024 Schedule Information Current Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM 3:30 PM (Temporary Schedule) Upcoming Schedule Change: Starting in May Inventory Control Coordinator will move to a Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday schedule with 1st shift hours. This adjustment will allow us to better support our growing operations and ensure smooth delivery of products to our locations. Description We are seeking a versatile Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team as we launch our brand-new Distribution Center. This role will support the Harvest Roasting warehouse and system by completing the administrative tasks needed for the warehouse to function smoothly. This role focuses on the coordination of inventory and balances to ensure accuracy of inventory in the warehouse. Communicates issues and needed resolutions. Will work cross functionally to ensure systems and inventory needs are aligned. You'll also play a key part in setting up and optimizing the warehouse. This includes cross-training in various warehouse operations, forklift certification, power equipment training, and comprehensive training on our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You'll gain valuable skills and certifications to advance your career! Essential Duties & Responsibilities Produce timely and accurate delivery sheets. Ensure orders are entered correctly and are accounted for. Monitor orders as they go out and are completed to make sure inventory remains accurate. Monitor inventory balances to make sure they are accurate. Ensure back orders are fulfilled as soon as stock is replenished. Ensure accurate recording of inbound and outbound inventory. Track cycle counts and inventory counts. Work and communicate between departments, to keep everyone informed and aligned on inventory management status and needs. Support warehouse by picking and preparing orders when, and as needed Qualifications Ability and willingness to learn warehouse management systems Knowledge of Sage 100 a plus Technically savvy with the ability to learn new programs quickly Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred Forklift certification preferred Professional appearance and attitude Detail oriented and self-motivated Strong communication skills Commitment to safety Ability to work as part of a team or individually with minimum supervision Ability to stand, climb, and walk for 8 hours or more Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, freezer) Ability to lift 50 lbs. continually throughout the day Ability to hear, see, and speak within a loud environment Regular and predictable attendance Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Physical Demands & Environment Able to meet the following physical demands, either with or without a reasonable accommodation: Regular and predictable attendance Lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 75 pounds frequently throughout a day Stand, sit, stoop, climb, kneel and crouch occasionally throughout a day Hear, see, and speak within a loud environment Work in varying temperature zones, from freezer temperatures to non air conditioned temperatures in the summer Location This position is a 100% in-person role.
