Jimmy John's Delivery DriverJimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that perfectly made sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double-checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law-abiding while on the street). Our Drivers do great with the small delivery area and high volume of consistent deliveries. Drivers take home cash every day! While not on the road, Drivers work as Inshoppers and will be required to learn the menu with 100% accuracy, help take orders, make sandwiches, and assist us in maintaining a clean restaurant. Delivery is a customer service job so knowing the menu, following customer's requests, and following through with a smile can lead to more successful days! Role Expectations: Responsible for customer product and service standards Foster an environment of teamwork Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact Execute quality store operations Clean store, small wares, etc. as necessary Adhere to all food, safety, and security guidelines Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies Driving Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record Drive safe and obey the rules of the road Pay Our drivers' total compensation averages $15-$20/hr, and includes the following: Driving rate of $8.00/hr Mileage reimbursement of $0.68 per mile Inshop rate of $14/hr, or $15/hr after training Cash and card tips Mileage and card tips are paid out as cash at the end of each shift. Wages are paid biweekly.
