Facilities Coordinator📍 Long Beach, CA 90805💲 Up to $61.00 per hour🕒 Part-Time | 40 Hours per Week📅 Contract: June 15, 2026 – September 13, 2026Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical building systems in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the continuous performance of facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, water, and mechanical systems, while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges in a 24/7 environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee building systems, including HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and water systemsEnsure operational uptime and reliability of critical infrastructureCoordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programsTroubleshoot facility issues and respond to emergency situations as neededMaintain compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and PPE requirementsManage vendors, service contracts, and maintenance budgetsSupport facility upgrades, installations, and expansion projectsProvide leadership and hands-on support to maintenance personnelMaintain accurate maintenance records and operational documentationRequiredHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 5 years of facilities, plant operations, industrial, healthcare, or related experienceStrong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, and mechanical systemsExperience with maintenance planning and troubleshootingVendor management and budget oversight experienceKnowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a dynamic 24/7 operational environmentSchedule40 hours per week8-hour shifts5 days per weekSchedule may vary based on facility operational needsIf you are a hands-on facilities professional with strong technical expertise and leadership experience, we encourage you to apply today.
