Responsibilities
Leverage datasets across the company and utilize analytics skills (SQL, Excel, Tableau) to produce critical dashboards, one‑off reports, and presentations.
Translate data capturing customer behavior into agile, insightful analytics that are communicated clearly and effectively, leading to optimal marketing actions and long‑term strategies.
Partner with stakeholders as a strategic collaborator, owning business intelligence analyses end‑to‑end, and providing timely, relevant insights, scenarios and recommendations.
Democratize results via internal intelligence platforms for long‑term use and build dashboards and scorecards that enable leaders to understand and act upon data to iterate on marketing tactics.
Manage a portfolio of highly consumable competitive intelligence assets (dashboards, papers, presentations, datasets) and identify opportunities to enhance the portfolio based on stakeholder feedback.
Analyze A/B tests across Amazon and Audible surfaces, provide recommendations based on testing results, and conduct deep dives to develop new hypotheses for continuous testing‑and‑learning.
Support reporting on the incremental impact of marketing tactics, including major promotions, launches, and ongoing campaigns.
Develop Amazon‑scale data pipelines using AWS.
Contribute to the growth of the Audible Insights Org by sharing ideas and learning from others.
Position reports in the Newark, NJ office; telecommuting from a home office is allowed.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a directly related field.
One (1) year of experience as an Analytics Manager, Business Intelligence Engineer, or a related occupation involving business intelligence, analytics, data science, or technical project management.
One (1) year of experience in each of the following:
Utilizing SQL to extract and merge data from varied sources, produce analyses, and manipulate databases.
Tableau or similar visualization software.
Technical project management in the areas of analytics, data science, or data engineering.
Advanced Excel.
Programming in Python or R to model data using advanced statistical methods.
Setup and analysis of large‑scale A/B tests (user‑based or geo‑based).
AWS tools including Amazon SageMaker.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $109,500 - $185,000 / year. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
