Certified Medication Technician
Position Description:
CMT or DSP will provide constant supervision, training, and personal care assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support in assistance of individual activity as assigned
Execute behavior programs in accordance with the approved Behavior Plan.
Deal with all emergency situations in accordance with Agency Policies and Procedures.
Provide assistance to give medication according to policy.
Provide help to drive the individual to appointments as needed.
Promote safety and security for the individual.
Skills and Abilities
Skill to perform the individual assessment, planning, and implementation of plans to meet the needs.
Skill to prioritize and manage time to complete tasks.
Skill to communicate with the individual orally and in writing unambiguously.
Knowledge of mental illness and psychological disorders.
Job Requirements:
All applicants must have a valid driver's license, be able to provide or complete applicable DDA certifications, MANDT training's and reports as needed.
Resume with one year of relevant experience
High School Diploma/GED required (BA degree a plus)
MD Criminal Clearance (current within one year)
CPR and First Aid (current)
Valid driver's license
Motor Vehicle Report
