The role includes both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic coverage, primarily for adult and geriatric patients, with a practice mix of approximately 80% hematology and 20% oncology. The provider will see an average of 10 patients per day in the hospital and 15 per day in the outpatient clinic. Call responsibilities include nights on a 1:10 rotation and 2 3 weekends per year. The practice includes 10 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers, and the hospital is a Level I Trauma center.
