If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!Job SummaryHas overall responsibility for a single manufacturing facility | Directs all aspects of production activity at the assigned plant to ensure that the desired quantities and quality of products are manufactured on schedule in a safe manner at minimum cost | May be responsible for Accounting, Human Resources and other staff functionsImpact of the RoleGeneral ProfileProvides leadership to managers and may also have professional staff.Must have at least one manager level direct reportIs accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teamsDevelops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational prioritiesDecisions are guided by resource availability and organizational objectivesConsistent exercise of discretion & judgmentEssential FunctionsDirects manufacturing operations and management teams for plants and locations of an organization that support business goals.Incorporates the organizational strategy and plans for operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs in manufacturing processes.Monitors production metrics and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency.Drives workforce planning activities and approves/allocates resources based on business priorities.Implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes.Leads and directs the work of other managers and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.Required QualificationsRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperienceCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Business degree preferredKnowledge, skills & abilities: Leadership skills.
