Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and providing support to help them achieve their goals. Duties:
- Implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support individuals in developing skills related to communication, socialization, and daily living activities
- Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to follow care plans and implement interventions effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Must be able to pass a background check

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
