Tractor Technician / Diesel Mechanic

We are please to announce a $500.00 Sign On Bonus! Responsible for performing A, B, and or Annual Inspections. Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs without supervision with a high degree of attention to detail. Essential Functions: Safely perform maintenance in accordance to required departmental processes, procedures, and documentation Safely complete necessary preventive maintenance or repairs in an acceptable period to meet equipment schedule needs without supervision Safely use any required shop or testing equipment to perform assigned job Safely perform general repairs with some supervision and perform preventive maintenance without supervision Safely troubleshoot and repair electrical, air, cooling and ABS systems Safely operate applicable vehicle alignment equipment Assist in determining if repairs require outside vendor maintenance Possess any necessary safety equipment required to safely perform assigned jobs The following requirements are also essential and expected of all employees: Consistently maintains a professional demeanor and communicates in a respectful and collaborative manner with coworkers, managers and others in the workplace Follows direction, is engaged and productive, and is flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations Has ability to work independently and to collaborate with and support other members of the department and across the enterprise Maintains regular and reliable attendance Demonstrates the Company's core values and complies with Company policies and procedures May be required to perform duties outside of the above responsibilities from time-to-time, as needed Scope and Accountability: Completes moderately complex tasks following well-defined procedures; may involve a variety of work routines; applies a range of experience and/or skills; selects the appropriate alternatives from a variety of defined options; may provide on-the-job training to new team members.
