EH&S Manager
Job SummaryProvide EHS leadership and technical support to the site and support the application of best-in-class EHS processes, procedures, programs, tools, training and standards across the organization. This role covers two plants and will require driving between the two.**Responsibilities: ** Define, implement, and reinforce standard EHS practices through plant management to ensure daily compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company standards. Lead continuous improvement of the site's EHS culture by delivering foundational OSHA training and implementing a comprehensive EHS methodology, such as STOP or a similar behavior-based safety system. Support EHS programs across office, administrative, material handling, transportation, and shop floor operations. Ensure plant-level EHS compliance by maintaining a consistent near-miss reporting process, active safety committees at all locations, regular communication, on-site audits, and a strong training, certification, and compliance tracking system that supports accurate records and timely renewal alerts. Prepare and submit all required regulatory and compliance reports for the site. Promote, monitor, and measure site performance to ensure compliance with hazardous material handling, storage, and waste management regulations in daily operations. Conduct audits and routine site visits to identify hazards, assess loss-producing risks in systems, operations, and processes, and implement sustainable, measurable solutions to maintain compliance across all regional locations. Establish consistent EHS reporting and metrics, and analyze incident, injury, and illness data to target improvement efforts and support a zero-incident culture.Skills/Abilities:** Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence. Good communication and presentation skills.
