Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipmentPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms electrical measurements and tests from test procedures and engineering specifications Sets up and checks out test station/equipmentMaintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results (metrics)Removes, replaces and assembles parts and/or assemblies as requiredPerforms necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardwareAssists Engineering in developing test procedures for new productsMonitors consumables required to support test activities Maintains inventory of testing equipment on hand and advises on equipment required to meet production schedules including obsolete, repair or calibration status.Job QualificationsMechanical and electrical concepts Ability to read and understand written test procedures ESD procedures Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)ISO 9001 experience – preferredMust be able to use hands to move and assemble very small electronic parts and fastening devicesMust be able to communicate orally and in writing using the English languageMust be able to use a microscope for extended periods of timeMust be US Citizen or PERM Resident Salary Range$50,600.00-$67,500.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
