The scope of responsibilities is from the Residents' pre-arrival, during initial stay and post arrival until the Resident has settled in, acquainted in their new home and feel comfortable at The Palace.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrep room to assure the apartment is ready.Assist the Director of Customer Service with ensuring that new residents' documentation is complete prior to or upon residents' entrance.Help resident with apartment set up in cooperation with Maintenance and Housekeeping.Follow up with Resident/Family throughout the day on any special requests.Give a tour of the entire building.Meet with Resident for breakfast, lunch and dinner during admission process.Visit residents in their apartments and during activities throughout the adjustment period.QualificationsThree (3) years of experience in Hospitality, Independent Living, Assisted Living Facility or similar setting.Experience in social services, customer service with older adult services a plus.College education preferred.Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs a must.Ability to speak, read & write in English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.Basic math skills required.The Ideal CandidatePolite,responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergencies.Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.Exhibit an enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people.
