This position offers the chance to take ownership of important accounting activities, collaborate with teams across the business, and support accurate financial reporting in a dynamic environment. The role is well suited for someone who wants to strengthen technical accounting skills while building toward future leadership opportunities.Responsibilities:• Manage key portions of the monthly and annual close cycle to help ensure financial statements are completed accurately and on schedule.• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and maintain support for underlying subledger activity.• Review balance sheet activity, including accruals for payroll, benefits, and operating expenses, and resolve discrepancies promptly.• Assist with financial reporting and analyze budget-to-actual results to highlight trends, risks, and business drivers for leadership.• Support corporate and sales tax processes, including gathering documentation and helping with required filings.• Work closely with operations and other departments to improve accounting workflows, strengthen reporting accuracy, and enhance processes.• Help maintain a reliable internal control structure by following established procedures and identifying areas for improvement.• Investigate accounting variances and transaction issues to protect data integrity and ensure records reflect business activity correctly.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.• At least 2 years of accounting experience, with manufacturing or industrial experience considered an advantage.• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.• Strong background in account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and accrual accounting.• Familiarity with corporate tax and sales tax support responsibilities.• Advanced Excel capabilities and comfort working within ERP or financial reporting systems.• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing priorities effectively.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
