For immediate consideration please email your most up to date resume to Trevor Jones at [email protected] Requirements**: Due to end client requirements candidates must be a US citizen and be eligible to receive a public trust 5+ years of experience Active AWS Certified Developer certification Bachelor’s Degree Familiarity with tools such as: AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Git, Jenkins, EC2, Step Function, Hive, Glue Catalog, Spectrum, Athena, S3, SNS SQS Title: AWS Cloud DeveloperLocation: Hybrid on site in Washington, DCDuration: 6 months contract to hirePay rate on contract: $50 - $60 per hour contingent upon experienceSalary upon conversion: $100,000 - $130,000 annuallyJob Description: Serve as a member of an Agile team to provide engineering support and maintenance of services and processes that migrate and promote data and algorithms to the AWS cloud environment and supporting cloud databases. Design, code, test and implement AWS cloud-based solutions Work with the customer and team on requirements gathering and task estimation. Perform routine data checks, code development and quality checks. Support database planning, design and implementation Support systems analysis, design and implementation Support code reviews and cloud deployments Provide regular status updates on progress both within the Agile framework and via weekly status reporting. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science and 5 years of experience or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of experience Familiar with tools such as AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Git, Jenkins, EC2, Step Function, Hive, Glue Catalog, Spectrum, Athena, S3, SNS SQS Experience with Python, XML Strong experience in analyzing and designing data migration strategies to load data from on-perm data warehouse to cloud data warehouse (Redshift and RDS).
