QA Engineer – UI Front-End (Storage Management Platforms) – Up to $150K - 3 Days Hybrid, Centennial, CO. This is not a typical QA role focused on simple UI testing.This is a platform-level QA position working on complex distributed storage systems, where the UI is tightly coupled with backend services operating at scale.We’re hiring for a global leader in data storage and management technology, and they need a QA Engineer who can validate not just the front-end experience, but how it behaves against deeply technical, high-performance backend systems.You’ll be working on:• Modern web-based management consoles used to control large-scale storage environments• UI workflows covering provisioning, monitoring, alerting, and system configuration• Interfaces that reflect real-time system state across distributed infrastructure• User experiences that translate complex storage concepts into intuitive workflows• Systems that must remain stable through node failures, scaling events, and performance degradation• Automation frameworks that ensure consistent validation across releasesWhat You’ll Be Doing:• Designing and executing test strategies for complex UI-driven management workflows• Validating UI interactions with backend APIs and distributed services• Testing behaviour under real-world scenarios such as failures, scaling, and performance shifts• Building and maintaining UI automation using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and release readiness• Performing exploratory testing to uncover usability and workflow issues• Working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and UX to improve testability and design• Owning defects end-to-end, from discovery through to validation and releaseWhat They’re Looking For:• 5+ years in QA or Test Engineering with a strong UI or front-end focus• Experience testing complex systems such as storage, infrastructure, or distributed platforms• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs• Hands-on experience with modern browser testing and responsive UI validation• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD integration• Ability to think beyond the UI and understand how systems behave underneathNice to Have (But Not Essential):• Experience with storage platforms such as NAS, SAN, or object storage• Exposure to monitoring dashboards, telemetry, or infrastructure control planes• Understanding of concepts like replication, snapshots, quotas, and scaling• Familiarity with accessibility and usability best practicesWhat’s On Offer:• Basic Salary Upto $150K• Strong benefits package (healthcare, retirement, wellness, and more)• Opportunity to work on complex, high-impact distributed systems• Exposure to both UI and deep platform-level engineering challenges• Collaborative environment with high-calibre engineering teams• Real ownership and influence over product quality and user experienceNotes:• Hybrid working model 3 days per week in Centennial, CO• No sponsorship availableNext Steps:• Apply via LinkedIn• If suitable, I will reach out for an initial conversation• 2–3 stage interview process• Final decision typically within 2–3 weeksPlease note, this is a real, approved role with active hiring.
