The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent law and litigation, with the ability to navigate complex technical issues and represent our clients effectively in patent disputes. Proficiency in Mandarin and knowledge of the Chinese patent system will be an added advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in patent litigation cases in federal and state courtsConduct legal research and provide strategic advice on patent lawDraft and file legal documents, including briefs and motionsEngage in discovery processes, including depositions and document reviewWork closely with clients to understand their technical needs and develop effective legal strategiesCollaborate with experts and technical staff to build strong casesNegotiate settlements and conduct settlement discussions with opposing counselStay updated on changes in patent law and litigation practicesQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive bar membership in relevant jurisdictions5+ years of experience in patent litigationStrong understanding of patent law and technical conceptsProficiency in Mandarin and ability to read and write in Chinese requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBenefits- Salary: $240,000 - $280,000+ annually (DOE)- Hybrid work set up- Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, and vision coverage- 401(k) retirement plan with firm contributions- Paid time off
