Senior Front End Developer

You stay current with evolving standards and push for performance, quality, and maintainability in everything you produce.What You’ll Do: Create prototypes and production-ready XHTML / CSS / JS for eCommerce websitesBuild responsive layouts, reusable code and libraries for future useFocus on user needs and optimum user experienceWork within an agile team, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimationsBe forward thinking, focused on performance initiatives and driven to implement frontend solutionsContribute to the team's focus to maintain frontend QualityStay current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as neededMentor the developers for frontend coding standards and best practicesYou’ll Need to Have:Prior experience in a similar role at a software house and/or an eCommerce companyExperience required in Salesforce commerce cloud (SFCC) ISMLExtensive experience in Page Designer and creating reusable componentsMastery of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6) adhering to industry defined coding standardsExperience with unit testing / integration / end-to-end testingExperience using CSS pre-processors, CSS-in-JS, SCSSKnowledge of popular CSS grid systemsHands-on experience in Media query systemExperience in Typography, Spacing systemFrontend performance optimization skills to adhere to core web vitals standardsExperience in PWA kit and dynamic component loading techniquesSolid understanding of the Agile methodology i.e. story point estimation, refinement, sprint planning, retrospective, sprint demosCommercial experience of using version control tooling (GIT) in a large development team performing.Good understanding / awareness of Accessibility, SEO Principles, Security, Performance best practicesDebugging and troubleshooting skillsA desire to write readable, maintainable, modular and extendable codeExperience in bringing multiple viewport responsive and adaptive web designs to lifeWe’d Love to See:Strong communication skills and capability to interact directly with the wider teamMK Perks:Generous Paid Time Off & Holiday Calendar Summer FridaysInternal Mobility Across BrandsCross-brand DiscountExclusive Employee SalesFav 5 Cards (MK Discount for friends and family)401k MatchPaid Parental LeaveThrive Wellness Program Commuter BenefitsGym DiscountsThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
