We work with adults to help them make strides in their lives, whether through self-help or community activities.About the PositionWe are seeking experienced, dependable, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work with adults in Butler, NJ to build self-help skills and engage in leisure activities at home and in the community.Job Responsibilities – $22-24/hrEngage the individual by executing programs developed by the supervising BCBA (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks, community activities).Support goals listed in the Individualized Service Plan (ISP).Promote independence through hands-on teaching, coaching, and prompts, as needed.Complete required data collection during each 1:1 teaching sessions accurately and promptly, using Google Drive applications as well as MS office and other applicable technology.Transport individuals to planned activities.Required Qualifications (NJ DDD Standards)High school diploma or equivalent. (Associates or greater preferred)Ability to complete mandatory NJ DDD trainings, including:Danielle's LawCPR/First AidPreventing Abuse & NeglectMedication AdministrationHCBSPBS
