Management Trainee

Management Trainee: This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in food service. This position is permanent and year-round as the store is open all year. Person will start as a Scooper at $15 an hour (minimum wage) plus tips and will be taught all aspects of that position. Training will take approximately two weeks working up to 20 hours a week. If the person shows interest and has the aptitude, he/she will be trained to eventually be a Manager Management Trainee responsibilities include: Opening or closing the store Ensuring sales are rung into the cash register and change made correctly Supervision of Scooper Keeping the store clean, stocked and running efficiently Providing superior customer service Resolving employee and/or customer issues Taking inventory and ordering supplies as necessary Helping with marketing and sales efforts through social media and attendance at outside events Suggesting additional or different items to sell in the store Other tasks as deemed necessary Management Trainee hours are 11am to 5pm or 5 to 9pm, and he/she can expect to work upwards of 20 to 25 hours a week, and potentially more during the busy summer season. The rate of pay for a Management Trainee is $17 an hour, or $2 an hour above minimum wage, plus tips. T.C. Scoops is located at 100 Central Street, Holliston, MA.
